In the fall of 2017 the Centre for Studies in Aging & Health in partnership with Correctional Services Canada held a series of in-class presentations which explore the complexities and challenges of caring for the older incarcerated person.  The two physician presenters were Dr. John Puxty, Associate Professor and Chair of the Division of Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University  and Dr. Chris Frank, Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine.

As the Clinical Leader of Specialized Geriatrics and Chair of Medical Advisory Committee at Providence Care Centre Dr. Frank contributed to this joint project between Correctional Services Canada and the Centre for Studies in Aging & Health at Providence Care (CSAH) .  Dr. Puxty, in his role as a geriatrician and the Director of the CSAH, contributed as  project lead and presenter.
